Three Mt. Vernon residents were ordered held without bond following their first appearance in court on multiple charges including Class X charges of home invasion, mob action, and criminal trespass to a resident.

The three were arrested at the scene of the home invasion in the 400 block of Bicknell Street on Tuesday morning.

They are identified as 21-year-old Leshannan Derixon and 21-year-old Lee Derixon both of 15th Street and 21-year-old Eric Nabors of College Street.

Two of the three along with one of their mother’s used to live in the home and the altercation was apparently the result of an argument over picking up property left at the home.   A female and male were inside the home when the door was kicked in.  The female reportedly had a knife and cut Lee Derixon’s hand with it.   He declined hospital treatment.  Leshannan Derixon is later accused of hitting the female in the head with a bat.  The alleged victim was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment.

Centralia Police responded after multiple calls of an attempt to kick in the door to the residence.

Judge Jonathan Brandmeier noted the violence of the offense and the injury sustained in agreeing with the State’s Attorney to hold the three without bond.
