A 28-year-old Salem man who was found taking a shower and washing his laundry at a neighbor’s home on South College Street Thanksgiving night has been arrested for criminal trespass to land.
Salem Police say Guy Collins had gone to the neighbor’s home earlier and was given a glass of water. At that time his request to come in the home was declined. The homeowner later left the residence and when she returned Collins was allegedly found in her shower.
Police were called and removed Collins. At the time the alleged victim did not want to press charges, but later requested to do so. At that point, police took Collins into custody at his home next door. He remains in the Marion County to await a decision on the filing of formal charges.
