Poplar Place in Centralia will be holding its 20th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner from eleven to two on Thursday.
The Poplar Place invites you and your family to join them for a complimentary traditional Thanksgiving Dinner that is open to the public. You can dine in or carry out. Their address is 323 North Poplar Street.
A number of individuals and businesses have made contributions of food and dessert to make the dinner possible. Normally 50 to 60 volunteers assist in making around 1,000 meals.
The program was started to give those with no other place to go a Thanksgiving dinner and has continued to grow in size over the years.
