The Salem Lady Wildcats repeated as DuQuoin Tip-Off champions beating Pinckneyville in the title game 48-43.
Salem trailed in the 2nd quarter but turned a 5-point deficit into a 28-26 advantage at the break. They would hold the Lady Panthers to just 4 points in the 3rd quarter with Natalie Lee hitting a pair of threes in the quarter to help Salem to an 8-point lead through 3.
Tournament MVP Emma Gregg finished with 14 points and averaged 14 points per game and was tremendous on the defensive end for Salem as they forced 128 turnovers in 4 games, averaging 32 per game.
Joining Gregg on the All-Tournament Team from Salem was Lee and Jordan Kessler.
Salem is 4-0 and will host TTown in their home opener Monday night on WJBD.
