State Police have identified the driver of the pickup truck that survived a double fatality crash on Thursday on Route 15 at Orchard Road in rural Ashley.
80-year-old Ronald Thompson of Centralia was the driver of a pickup truck that was hit head-on by a car that overcorrected after running onto the right gravel shoulder. Thompson was airlifted from the scene to a regional hospital for treatment of injuries.
The driver of the car that struck Thompson has been identified as 45-year-old Kristy Wilson of Centralia. She was killed along with a passenger in her vehicle, 44-year-old Aaron Johnson of Mesa, Arizona. Both were pronounced dead on the scene by Washington County Coroner Mark Styninger from blunt force trauma.
