A 25-year-old Centralia man has been arrested for aggravated battery in connection with a Tuesday morning stabbing in the 1200 block of South Walnut.
Centralia Police report Christopher McClelland of Dover Street reportedly ran from the scene, but was located a short time later.
Police say the victim reportedly sustained minor injuries and did not require treatment.
McClelland was also arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant on pending charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
The incident occurred around eight Tuesday morning.
