It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tracy C. Shaw, 54, of Mt. Vernon, formerly of Salem, on November 6th, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born on August 1st, 1971, to Theodore Shaw and Juanita Weems in Centralia, IL.
Tracy was a firm believer in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was heavily involved with her church when her health allowed. A few of the simple pleasures that she liked to do were coloring, doing puzzles, and reading books.
Tracy is survived by her three brothers: Ted Shaw Jr. and wife Kathy, David Shaw and wife Michelle, and Lowell Shaw and wife Jeannie; two nieces: Stephanie Emmons and Sierra Shaw; and one great niece: Lilliana Shaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Theodore Shaw and Juanita Weems; grandmother: Opal Weems; and nephew: Michael David Shaw.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13th, 2025, at 11:00 am at Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bryce Ash officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
