A 37-year-old Salem woman was arrested on Sunday for aggravated battery to a senior citizen after allegedly pushing or shoving a 76-year-old woman.
Salem Police say Amanda Moore of Golden Acres became involved in an altercation when the alleged victim and the victim’s step-son were trying to get Moore to leave the step-son’s apartment where she had been staying for a few weeks.
Moore was still at the residence upon their arrival and was taken to the Marion County Jail.
Police say there were no injuries.
The incident was reported at 8:32 Sunday morning.
