The cause of a fire in clothing placed on the stove of a Centralia home Saturday night has been turned over to fire investigators.
Centralia City Firemen say they responded to the Sharesha Houser home in the 500 block of East Howard after a neighbor reported a smoke alarm sounding at the Houser home. When they entered, they found a small fire in the clothing that was put out with a water cannon extinguisher.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The fire call came in at 7:57 Saturday night.
