The Columbia Eagles won the Granite City 1a soccer sectional by a final of 3-2 in overtime. Columbia trailed 2-0 in the game before their comeback. They advance to Saturday’s Super Sectional at Columbia when they host Williamsville.
In 2a, Triad advanced to the Troy Sectional Finals with a 1-0 win over Waterloo. Lance Stauffer had the goal assisted by Jacob Dulaney. They will play Saturday against Althoff in the finals after their 4-0 win over Carbondale.
