A coat giveaway for children has been set for Saturday in Centralia.
Crystal Koch who has done the giveaway for several years decided to repeat the event this year after hearing so many voicing a need.
It will be held from eight to noon at the Calumet Street Christian Church. It is for children ages infant through high school. Sizes range from 12 months to 3XL.
Koch plans to hand out over 400 new coats, hats, and gloves to children in the community.
Everyone who comes to the church should stop at the registration desk at the front door to get an armband prior to getting in line. Children must be present in order to get a coat, gloves, and hats.
