Tony attended Iuka Grade School.  Illinois and Salem Community High School. He played the violin and the Trombone at the First Pentecostal Church where he was baptized in Jesus name and received the Holy Ghost in 1972.

He enjoyed fishing and going to the NASCAR races. His son, Joshua, says he will cherish those long summer days in that Red Mac, pulling the Lowboy from sunup to sundown, me annoying him by constantly begging to hear those jakes, the sound of those chains hitting the headache rack in traffic, and teaching me so much about being a truck driver. He was the best truck driver that I have ever seen, and I will miss him dearly.

His family has decided on cremation. No services are planned at this time.
