In middle school girls basketball, Franklin Park traveled to SC and came away with a 35-17 win. Braelan Knaak had 12 for Salem, Lexie Malan added 8, Kenna Benjamin 7 and Brynn Kessler 6. Salem also won the 6th grade game behind 19 from Lyla Beyers. The JV won 39-16 with Benjamin going for 19 and Kinsley Gansauer adding 6.
Selmaville notched their first win of the season 35-17 over Iuka. Karmen Murray had 15 points with 6 other Lady Rockets scoring. Kenzie Collier led the Lady Pirates with 7. Selmaville travels to Opdyke/Belle Rive tomorrow followed by a trip to Rome on Thursday.
In boys hoops, Iuka beat Geff 55-35. Hayden Dasch had 14 for the Pirates, Ethan Smith added 10 and Trygg Aaron 9. The Iuka JV won 51-9 behind 8 points each from Hosea Weems and Eli Bookhout.
St Mary/Willow Grove improved to 3-1 with a win over Odin 49-18. Reid Hall had 14 in the win, Kayson Waters added 10 with 6 each from Tucker Aydt and Blaise Schwartz.
Centralia got 17 from Treyton Branch in their 44-27 win over Germantown.
