Several contests held as part of Centralia Fall Festival

Winners of the Fall Festival 2024 Pet Contest.

The Centralia Halloween Fall Festival contained various contests for the public including Best Dressed Pet and a chili cook-off.

Best Dressed Pet

1^st place- Loki as where’s Waldo shown by owner Karin Zettler

2^nd place- Maggie, Finn and Max as the Three Amigos by owner Gina Feazel

3^rd place- Rocky as Dog Ross- Worked Famous painter by owner Samantha Dix

Chili Cook-off

Judges choice:

1^st place- Lisa Oller

2^nd place- Kaitlyn Gluck sponsored by Locust street pub

3^rd place- Gluckin’ Spicy by Derrick Gluck and John Spicer

People’s choice:

1^st place- Corey Miller sponsored by Kretzer’s Grill and Bar

2nd place- Gluckin’ Spicy by Derrick Gluck and John Spicer

Best decorated booth award went to Jessica Krein and Sherry Bryan

Mummy Wrap

Central City grade school continued their dominance in the mummy wrap competition, this year defeating St. Mary’s Grade School.   New Central City Principal Haylee Helm was wrapped up as the mummy this year.
