The Centralia Orphans hosted their Cross Country Invitational on Saturday morning. Mount Vernon won the boys race with a team score of 59. Darius Ivy of East St Louis won the race. Carterville was 2nd followed by Carbondale, Mascoutah and then Salem who was 5th with 116 points. East St Louis finished 6 followed by Effingham and Mater Dei. Cahokia, Centralia and Marion did not have enough for a team score.
