Monday is Columbus Day, a federal and state holiday. However, you’ll find trash pickup remaining on its regular schedule with Monday pickup in Salem and Centralia. Salem will have the first day of fall cleanup. Your cleanup day will be the same as your trash collection day this week. In Centralia, bagged leaf/limb pickup will run as scheduled in the coming week as well.
Centralia city offices will be closed on Monday, while Salem City Hall will be open as usual on Monday.
Area courthouses are closed. There will be no home mail delivery and most schools and financial institutions will be closed.
