The Salem Wildcats soccer team has made history this year being the first team to win a tournament title, the first team to beat Freeburg and Murphysboro as well as now owning the school record for wins at 12-2 following Wednesday’s 4-0 home win over Olney. In the win, Eli Baker scored 3 more goals giving the junior 101 in his stellar career already. Caleb Purintun added a goal and 3 assists in the game. Salem is back in action today with a 4pm home game against Massac County followed by a 10am home game tomorrow morning against Marion.
