A 38-year-old Salem man has pleaded guilty in Marion County Court to a reduced charge of battery in connection with hitting another Salem man over the head with a pipe.
Drew Nibert of East Olive was placed on 18 months’ probation and given credit for four days served in the Marion County Jail following the March 24th incident.
As part of the plea, an aggravated battery charge was dropped.
