In Class S regional finals at the Little League Complex, Willow Grove/St Mary’s knocked off top-seed Selmaville 8-4 to advance to state.
Raylynn Parker was great in the circle striking out 17 Lady Rockets allowing 4 hits and 2 earned runs. Parker also had a good day at the plate going 2-2 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Aubrey Kuder doubled and drove in 2 with a pair of RBI from Devyn Dodillet.
For Selmaville, Alana Howe, Abi McProud, Karmen Murray and Khaeler Williams all had hits. Howe scored a pair of runs and Gwen Goostree and Williams scored. Allie Patrick took the loss but struck out six batters giving her an even 100 for the season. The Lady Rockets finish their season at 19-6.
