SCHS names DAR and SAR winners for current school year

Salem Community High School has announced the DAR and SAR winners for the 2024-25 school year.

Ella Douglas, the daughter of Dr. Mike and Britt Douglas of Salem, was selected as the Daughters of American Revolution Award Winner.

Cole Casburn, the son of Jed and Tammy Casburn of Salem, was named the Sons of the American Revolution Award Winner.

The awards are selected by his teachers and peers and is given to students who exemplifies outstanding qualities of leadership, dependability, service and patriotism.
