Patoka/Odin advanced to their Class S baseball regional title game with a tight win over Selmaville last night 7-6. Hunter Hyde drove in 2 Mohawk runs with RBI also from Brody Spicer and Alec Payne. Hunter Thompson and Blaize Murray scored 2 runs each. Payne worked 3.2 allowing 3 hits and 1 earned runs. Thompson worked 3.1 allowing just 1 hit and striking out 5. For the Rockets, Drew Consolino and Jacob Butts drove in runs. Tripp Garden went 2-3 with 2 runs scored. Isaac Knapp singled and scored. Patoka will take on Altamont Lutheran on Monday after ALIS beat Central City 8-1.
In Bluford, Summersville shutout Rome 10-0 to move to the finals against Opdyke-Belle Rive who beat Ewing 6-4.
In Class M regional finals, Aviston beat Okawville 10-0.
