The SC Cougars won a NTC baseball game at home beating Altamont 4-2. Callaway Smith went 3-4 with an RBI as Hudson Moore and Maddux Robb also drove in runs. Callaway Smith went the first four innings allowing 5 hits and no runs. When he left the game was scoreless, but SC scored 4 times in the fifth and Trevan Sidwell went the final 3 innings for the win.
North Clay improved to 11-3 with their 11-1, six-inning win over Dieterich. They are now 5-1 in the National Trail. The Cardinals will travel to Windsor/Stew-Stras tomorrow.
