The Marion County Sheriff’s Department has arrested a 56-year-old Sandoval man for alleged domestic battery. Johnny Bosler of South Main was arrested after his vehicle was found at Circle K following a complaint that the woman passenger was being held against her will and her life had been threatened. Bosler was taken to the Marion County Jail to await further court action.
For the second time in recent days, A,T,&T has reported wiring stolen from their utility poles. About 300 feet of wire was discovered missing Monday from along the Green Street Road near the Brick Hill Road intersection.
The Salem Fire Protection District was called out around 4:30 Tuesday morning to a report of an issue with the big flare at Citation Oil on the Green Street Road. The department found no one around and no apparent problem with the flare.
