CORLHS XC Competed At SIUE

The Christ Our Rock Silver Stallions competed at The Edwardsville Invitational this morning on the campus of SIU-E.
The meet featured 1A, 2A and 3A high schools from Illinois along with several Missouri High Schools.
The Girls race would feature 129 total runners, while the Boys Varsity race was even larger with 267 total runners.
The Stallions got a great performance from Lady Stallion Sr. Rylee Brammeier who finished 25th (23:18) and medaled (Top 50).
The Boys would hold their own against tough competition finishing 4th out of Illinois 1A schools, 8th out of all Illinois schools and 13th out of the entire 26 team field represented. Soph. Carson Pigg finished 45th overall (37th in team score)(18:30) and medaled (Top 50) on the hilly 3.1mi(5K) course, while Sr. Zerek Koch narrowly missed the medal count finishing 54th (44th in team score) (18:53) out of the 267 member field.
