Salem junior Eli Baker broke his own single game goal scoring record set earlier this year as he scored 8 times in Salem’s 9-2 win yesterday over visiting Mount Vernon. The game was 2-1 at halftime when Baker would go off scoring 4 goals in the first 5 minutes of the 2nd half. Senior captain Keaton Gullion would score his 2nd of the year to finish off the Salem scoring. Baker now has 97 career goals at Salem and is the leading scorer in not only the state but also the country according to Max Preps. Salem is 10-1 for the first time ever and will travel to Wesclin tomorrow.
