The Salem boys and girls cross country teams competed at Mt Vernon Tuesday evening with both teams placing 3rd out of 6 teams.
Finishing first for Salem and 7th overall was Hunter Malan at a time of 16:44 over the 3 mile course. Caiden Beer was 8th overall in a time of 16:54.
In the girls race Kendall Zimmerman ran a time of 21:35 placing fourth overall and first for the Ladycats. Maci Thorsen was number 2 for Salem and 5th overall in a time of 22:15.
The Wildcats run this Saturday at the Olney Invitational.
