The Salem Wildcats soccer team improved to 9-1 on the season with a home win on Saturday over Freeburg 4-2. It’s the program’s first ever win over the Midgets and it keeps Salem undefeated in the Conference with a shot at their first ever league title. Eli Baker and Caleb Purintun had 2 goals each for the Wildcats. Salem will return to action tomorrow at home against Mount Vernon.
