Wildcats 4th At Benton….Detering Shoots 2-under For 3rd

The Salem Wildcat golfers were 4^th at the Benton Invitational shooting 319 as a team. Benton fielded 2 teams on the day with Benton Maroon shooting 296 for 1^st and Benton Grey 306 for 2^nd with Anna’s 313 3^rd. Rhett Detering finished 3^rd shooting a 2-under 70. Landen Maxey was 17^th shooting 80, Ryan Detering was 21^st shooting 84, Logan Lockhart 22^nd shooting 85 and Aden Bass added a 90 for 32^nd. Benton’s Kash Cantrell shot 7-under 65 for 1^st with River Stilley of Benton shooting 69 for 2^nd.

The Lady Wildcats golfers are at the Salem Country Club this afternoon taking on TTown.

The Centralia Orphans compete at Cardinal Creek today with Belleville East and Mount Vernon.
