The Marion County Sheriff’s Department reports a 19-year-old Iuka woman lost control of a side by side as it rounded a curve on the Jezek Road in rural Alma Sunday afternoon.
Makenna Smith of U.S. 50 was treated on the scene by United Medical Response while passenger, 19-year-old Allison Roberts of Selmaville Road in Salem, was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment.
Deputies say the side by side ended up on its top. It reportedly had very minor damage and was driven off after put back on its wheels.
The crash occurred around 1:28 Sunday afternoon.
