Selmaville Running Rockets Have Strong Showing At Bluford

Saturday, the Selmaville Running Rockets attended the Bluford Bash Cross Country Meet.  There were 20 schools represented with 85 runners in the JV races and 60 in the Varsity races.

The JV girls and JV boys won 1st place.  Top finishers for the JV girls were Gabby Harper (1st), McKenzie Mulvany (2nd), Gia Ward (5th), Kailey Meredith (7th) and Hadleigh Sapp (35th).

Top finishers in the JV boys race were Izac Holsapple (2nd), Elijah DeRossett (5th), Max Bookhout (6th), Remington Carroll (13th), Zeke Thompson (23rd), and Camden Gibson (28th).

The Varsity girls had 2 medalists from Karmen Murray (3rd) and Alana Howe (17th).

The Running Rockets will attend the Lee Evans Meet on Wednesday.
