Salem Police have arrested 35-year-old Clint Nix of South Lackey in Salem for attempted burglary, attempted criminal trespass to property, and criminal trespass to property. He was taken to the Marion County Jail. No other details are yet available.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department reports a stolen four-wheeler has been recovered. The theft was reported Saturday night from inside a garage at a home in the 1700 block of Ullman Road. The garage door was reportedly left open with the theft discovered when the homeowner returned home. After learning who may have been responsible, sheriff’s deputies and Centralia Police went to a home in the 400 block of West Sixth. After gaining permission to go through a gate into the backyard, a four-wheeler was discovered that had the serial number of the stolen vehicle. So far no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
