Police Beat for Thursday, September 12th, 2024

A 37-year-old Louisville, Kentucky man is being held in the Marion County Jail for disorderly conduct after allegedly entering a home in the 5100 block of US 50 in rural Salem without permission.   Sheriff’s Deputies say Daniel Lindsey had gone to the home earlier in the day and had been asked to leave at that time.

42-year-old Shawntalise Beasley of St. Louis, Missouri was arrested following an altercation with a man in the parking lot of Fast Stop in Patoka on Wednesday.  Sheriff’s Deputies had initially been called to the fight and later found the two involved inside the Dollar General Store in Patoka where they allegedly tried to stay hidden in the store after seeing deputies.  Beasley was arrested for aggravated battery to the man as well as on an outstanding Cook County warrant.
32-year-old Kyle Obermeier of North Everett in Odin was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for violation of pretrial release conditions.
Salem Police arrested 31-year-old Spencer Loyd of North Miller in Salem on an outstanding Clinton County felony failure to appear warrant in a theft case.  Police report Loyd was located after they were called to an animal complaint.  Loyd was taken to the Marion County Jail on the no bond warrant to await transfer to Clinton County.
Centralia Police arrested 32-year-old Donna Crabtree of East 3rd in Centralia on a no bond Marion County felony failure to appear warrant.
32-year-old Jakob Jones of Franklin Street in Carlyle turned himself in on an outstanding no bond Marion County misdemeanor failure to appear warrant.
