It was a rough night defensively for the Bobcats as Franklin Park made 5 errors in their road loss at Flora 7-1. Owen Tennyson went 2-3, Zane Applegate had a hit and Kai Graham scored the lone Salem run. Tennyson and Dakota Gregg pitched in the loss. The Bobcats will play at Breese today.
Pirates Fall In Extras To West Salem
The Iuka Pirates lost to West Salem 5-4 in 8-innings. With the game tied at 3 after 7, West Salem scored a pair of runs in the extra inning. Iuka would score one but had their rally stopped just short. Zach Jones, Lucas Hicks and Ethan Wilkerson added RBI. Vince Krajefska worked 6.1 innings striking out 13 and walking just 2. Trygg Aaron worked the other 1.2 with 4 k’s.
Organ/Parrett Help Raccoon Beat WGSM
Raccoon beat Willow Grove/St Mary 13-3. John Organ went 3-3 with 2 doubles and drove in 3 runs. Ethan Parrett added 2 hits including a double and also drove in 3. Organ was the winning pitcher striking out 14 in the complete game with 3 hits allowed.
