Centralia City firemen say a worker at the Swan plant in the Centralia Industrial Park was injured Sunday night when his foot became stuck in a press used to make fiberglass product.
Firemen say those at the plant had freed the worker’s foot and cut off his boot. It was not immediately clear how the accident occurred.
City firemen and Lifestar Ambulance provided initial medical care until the employee was transported to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment.
The name of the worker has not been released.
The call came in around ten Sunday night.
