The Salem Wildcats football team will look for their first win as they hit the road again, this time to Benton, to take on the 1-0 Rangers. Salem is coming off that 42-35 loss at Centralia to open the season, while Benton dominated Carterville to the tune of 42-0. Game time at 7pm with Toby Gullion and Josh Tate on the call.
The 1-0 Centralia Orphans will hit the road to take on Collinsville. Mount Vernon looks for their first win as they host Carbondale to open South Seven play.
Also tonight in the Cahokia, Breese Central is at Mater Dei for the 2024 Milk Bowl. Freeburg travels to Jerseyville, Roxana is at Red Bud, Waterloo heads to Columbia and Wood River is at Civic Memorial.
