Salem soccer lost the battle of state ranked undefeated teams yesterday falling at Highland 2-1. The Bulldogs scored 2 first half goals before Salem would add a 2nd half Caleb Purintun goal to cut the deficit to 1. It was the only goal the Bulldogs have given up this year.
The Wildcats are 4-1 and have only surrendered 3 goals all season. Salem returns to soccer action today at home against Valmeyer.
The Centralia Orphans soccer team will host Greenville.
