Three people were taken to the Marion County Jail on Wednesday.
49-year-old Shannon Demain of Maplewood Avenue in Salem was arrested on a violation of an order of protection.
31-year-old Nathan Hale of North Hickory in Centralia was arrested in Clinton County and later transferred to the Marion County Jail on an Illinois Department of Transportation Warrant and a Marion County major traffic warrant.
28-year-old Bryce Edwards of South Bryan in Centralia was arrested on a Marion County felony no bond failure to appear warrant. He was also arrested in Clinton County and transferred to the Marion County Jail.
The Salem Fire Protection District was called to a fire involving a garage door opener at the Natasha Neideffer home in the 2000 block of Summertime Nine Road in rural Salem. The owner reported seeing flames around the floressant light, but by the time firemen arrived it was just smoking. The light was disconnected and the fire did not spread.
