Salem golf team won the Litchfield tournament held on Friday August 30th. The tournament was reduced to 9 holes due to thunderstorms in the afternoon. Salem was led by Senior Rhett Detering with a 37, followed by Landen Maxey 38, Logan Lockhart and Aden Bass both with 41s. Also playing for Salem were Kyler Sapp 43 and Ryan Detering 45. Salem will host a JV and Varsity match against the 1A defending state champion St Anthony on Tuesday.
The Salem Lady Cats are at home today also against St Anthony.
The Centralia Annies golf team will compete at Greenview against Carbondale and Mount Vernon.
