The Selmaville Rockets went 1-1 at the SC Tournament on Saturday. They opened with a loss to the Jasper Polecats 12-3. Tripp Garden drove in a run for the Rockets. Porter Lewis singled and scored. Matthew Carter went 2-3 with a run. Tripp Garden, Weston Crouse and Izac Holsapple pitched in the loss.
Selmaville then beat Altamont 13-0. Porter Lewis drove in 4 runs on 3 hits. Jacob Butts earned the win allowing 3 hits and no runs over 5 innings. He struck out 8. Isaac Knapp and Garden also had 3 hits in the game.
