The Franklin Park Bobcats fell to 8-2 as they dropped their game to Millstadt in Salem 2-1. Millstadt scored a pair of runs in the 6th inning to take the lead for good.
Zane Applegate drove in the Salem run. Bentley Bryan singled and scored, Emmit Gibson and Rhett Starnes also had hits. Applegate worked 6.1 allowing just 1 earned run and 3 hits. Bryan worked the final 2/3 of an inning.
Salem is back in action today at Carlyle.
