An 18-year-old Patoka man was injured in a single-car crash in Patoka early Sunday morning.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Wade Voelkel of South Maple ran off the 500 block of West Jefferson in Patoka where he struck an electric pole. Voelkel complained of leg pain and was taken by emergency medical services to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment of injuries.
Ameren was called to repair the pole which split when hit by the car.
The crash occurred at 1:21 on Sunday morning.
