Wildcats Head To Evers Tonight For Shrine Game To Open The Season

It was an overtime thriller at Jim Finks Field a year ago that saw the Wildcats beat Centralia in overtime to win the annual Shrine Classic.  This year the venue shifts to new Evers Field and the turf as the Orphans look for revenge.  Pregame at 6:40 and the kickoff at 7 as the high school football season begins on WJBD.

Also tonight around the Cahokia, Columbia is at Mater Dei, Freeburg will play at Desoto Missouri, Breese Central hosts Highland, Roxana is at Jerseyville and Wood River heads to Clinton.

Also tonight, Flora is at Carmi, Vandalia hosts Pana, Althoff is at Alton, Benton at Carterville, Carlyle goes to Nashville, Carbondale hosts Murphysboro, Olney at Taylorville and Mount Vernon will host Waterloo.
