The Illinois Department of Criminal Investigation has taken over an investigation of a man who died at the storage facility in the 600 block of Aaron Parkway on the west side of Centralia.
Centralia Police say they had responded to a suspicious vehicle last Wednesday, August 21st, in the storage facility. While approaching, they heard a single gunshot and when getting to the vehicle found a deceased male.
Police report the man was wanted on multiple warrants.
The name of the man has not been released.
Zone 8 Criminal Investigations reports this is an ongoing investigation and no further details are being released at the present time.
