The driver of a motorized bicycle was injured when his bicycle apparently missed a stop sign at 16th and Hickory in Centralia and drove out in front of an SUV.
Centralia City Firemen say Melber Betterson of the 1400 block of South Cherry in Centralia bounced up on the hood of the vehicle after impact. He was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment.
The driver of the SUV, who was with her three children, was shaken up by the crash but didn’t need hospital treatment.
Centralia Police crash reports are not yet available.
The crash occurred at 3:57 on Saturday afternoon.
