Five new teachers have joined the staff of Salem Community High School for the new school year.
Rase Collins who taught at North Clay will be a science teacher.
Dylan Courty comes to SCHS from White County schools in Carmi and will teach physical education and will serve as assistant boys basketball coach.
Kacey Puricelli will teach math.
SCHS 2020 graduate Katelyn Green returns to her alma mater to teach Family and Consumer Science and to oversee the co-op program for students who are interning at businesses in the community.
Connor Brooks has been hired as physical education teacher and girls golf coach. He comes to Salem High from the Odin School District.
