A 26-year-old Alma man was formally charged in Marion County Court on Monday with aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery.
Daniel Hendrick of East Street is accused of impeding the normal breathing of a family member and placing his hands around her throat in an August 10th incident.
During his first appearance in court, Hendrick had the public defender appointed to represent him and was released on pretrial conditions pending a preliminary hearing set for September 24th.
