Three Centralia men have been charged in Marion County Court with felony offenses in connection with separate burglary and theft cases.

40-year-old Christopher Owens of South Walnut in Centralia has been charged with burglary to a trailer in the 1200 block of South Hickory with the intent to commit theft.  The charge is enhanced due to a prior felony conviction in Marion County.

35-year-old Nicholas White of South Cherry in Centralia has been charged with theft and criminal damage to air conditioning units owned by CHCT Illinois, LLC in the 400 block of West Second.  The equipment was valued at between $10,000 and $100,000.

A 52-year-old man found inside a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of South Poplar in downtown Centralia early Thursday morning has been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and misdemeanor theft of currency that belongs to the owner of the car.  Joseph O’Neal of South Marion in Centralia had the public defender appointed and pretrial release conditions granted.

A person with O’Neal in the vehicle, 33-year-old Tadarrius Guyton of East St. Louis, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a firearm without a fire owner’s ID card.  He indicated he would hire his own attorney and is due back in court on September 4th.  Guyton was released on pretrial conditions.
