The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department has arrested two Ina residents on warrants charging child pornography.
28-year-old Tyler J. Stover and 25-year-old Julie R. Bulthuis of Cross Street were charged following a complaint that was initiated after a complaint was made to the Mt. Vernon Police Department on July 1st. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department took over the investigation and executed search warrants on their Ina home on July 2nd where evidence was obtained and submitted for forensic analysis. The sheriff’s department reports the investigation revealed evidence of criminal activity, which involved a victim who was a juvenile family member.
Once completed, the investigation findings were forwarded to the Jefferson County State Attorney’s Office which later issued the arrest warrants.
