Administrators from the Odin, Patoka, and Sandoval School Districts will meet later this month for the first time to determine if there is any interest in having a feasibility study to look at possible consolidation of the districts.
Odin Superintendent Belinda Kirgan addressed the issue at Thursday night’s school board meeting.
“We’re not looking to consolidate or anything like that at this point,” Kirgan said. “We’re just looking at research and seeing what might be best for our kids and the community.”
Kirgan said she put the issue on the Odin School Board agenda Thursday night due to discussion in social media which she said was premature.
