The IESA junior high softball season is underway. South Central opened on the road with a trip to Ramsey and came away with a 9-5 victory.
SC left no doubt scoring 5 runs in the 2nd inning to take a 7-0 lead early. Rylan Williams, Bella McDowell and Claire Chasteen drove in 2 runs each. Emmie Ruholl went 2-4. Annie Ruholl was the winning pitcher going 5.2 allowing 4 earned runs and striking out 9. Rylan came in for the final 4 outs.
SC is back in action this afternoon when they host Sigel St Michael to Deep Rock Energy Field in Kinmundy.
